Troy Lee Edge - Black

The Edge Comp uses a EPS foam liner like all bicycle helmets sold at the moment, but differs from all the others by having a molded nylon exterior which is far more durable. The micro shell models offered by the others use a thin vacu-formed plastic sheet taped to the EPS (Expanded Poly Styrene) foam shell/liner at the it outer circumference. The Edge Comp's inner foam liner is bonded to the nylon exterior making this closer to the hardshell helmets (like the Bell V-1 Pro) that used to be made. It has several front and top air vents with large exhaust vents at the rear. It has matching nylon visor that is removable and adjustable. These are made in 3 sizes Small (fits hat size 6 1/2 to 6 7/8" / 53cm to 55 cm) -Med/Lrg (fits hat size 6 7/8 to 7 3/8 / 55cm to 59cm) or X-Lrg (fits hat size 7 3/8 to 7 7/8 / 59cm to 63cm).
